QSI Ashgabat International School is delighted to offer the Advanced Placement (AP) program to its secondary students, providing them with the opportunity to engage in rigorous coursework that challenges them to think with the sophistication of university students, and ultimately earn college credits through the successful completion of AP exams credentialed by the Educational Testing Service in the United States, where many colleges and universities grant university credit for test scores of 3 or higher on a scale of 1 to 5. Additionally, the AP courses at QSI Ashgabat International School offer Secondary II, III, and IV students a chance to prepare for the AP exams, which can lead to the recognition of their academic achievements by higher education institutions.

Advanced Placement Courses

QSI AIS offers a variety of AP courses onsite, taught by trained, certified educators. We also offer a range of courses online through QVS, QSI's virtual school.

The AP Capstone Diploma

AP Capstone Diploma Requirements

AP Capstone is a new program from College Board that prepares students for the independent research, collaborative teamwork, and communication skills that are in line with what universities are increasingly seeking. The program promotes curious, independent, and collaborative scholars and prepares them to make logical evidence-based decisions. AP Capstone is centered around two AP courses—AP Seminar and AP Research—and is designed to complement and enhance the discipline-specific study in other AP courses.
